My stay at Fairmont Dallas had its ups and downs. While the cocktail service at the bar was fantastic and the drinks truly stood out, I faced several challenges with the room and service that shaped my overall experience. Specifically, the blackout curtain was broken, leading to early morning light, and I had to repeatedly request a refrigerator. On a positive note, the concierge, Phillip, was exceptionally helpful, making me feel welcome. Overall, there’s room for improvement.

Rooms

The room was spacious, but several issues needed attention. The blackout curtain didn't close properly, and I had trouble with the safe due to a low battery. Also, some lighting was inadequate.

Service had its highs and lows. The bartender was attentive and friendly, but my requests regarding room amenities were not handled promptly and the front desk was less accommodating than I hoped.

Although the rooftop pool offered a serene experience, the elevator situation was frustrating with only one working at times. I also faced unexpected valet charges, which caught me off guard.

I recently stayed at Fairmont Dallas for the GBTA Convention, and there were both highs and lows. While the location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city, I was let down by the cleanliness of my room and the pool area. My family enjoyed some aspects, like the spacious room and friendly staff, but the overall experience didn’t live up to the expectations set by the Fairmont brand.

Rooms

My room was spacious with a great view, but I found it quite dusty and not up to par in cleanliness. With mixed nuts found on the floor and empty toiletries, I was disappointed.

While some staff were friendly and helpful, like Phil at the concierge desk, the front desk response to my complaints felt cold and dismissive. It seemed like they didn’t genuinely care about resolving my issues.

During my recent stay at Fairmont Dallas, I appreciated the excellent service from the staff, particularly from Antonio, the valet, who made me feel special by remembering my name. However, the room I was in had some heating issues and there were charges for services that I expected to be complimentary. Overall, while the staff and ambiance were lovely, the issues with the room and service left something to be desired.
